In my opinion Grinspoon were pretty good 'back in the day'... i.e. '97ish One of my good friends went on tour with them a couple of years ago and she says they are an awesome bunch of people to hang out and party with!

My momentary lapse in grammatical correctness is regrettable, yet shall be overcome. Your opinion regarding Grinspoon is a serious personal shortcoming that will genuinely inhibit future prospects, sociability and wellbeing. Good luck surviving in a world that despises you and, in all likelihood, will despise your entire family for generations to come.

The Spitfires' new EP. So far I've managed to hack open the ridiculously tight shrinkwrap... thank god I had a Stanley knife handy, otherwise I might not be listening to the thing later.

Hole are still around?
I got Eyespy's single 'Shuffle' at their launch last night, which is now sitting on top of a teetering pile of CD's I should get around to listening to. Twas a good gig, too.

I wouldn't say 'still around'. From what I can gather it is a completely new lineup (except for Courtney, of course)

Eric hates Courtney. He's probably going to sue her for using the name. I would too. Without Eric, Courtney would still be that chick who's really fat, was in two Alex Cox movies and is a Kat Bjelland copycat and maybe Kurt would still be alive and screwing that chick from Bikini Kill (not Kathleen Hanna). So it's pretty much Kookoo Love using the name Hole for a record that's been in the works since 2005. That's enough tarding up PerthBands for today.
