Dana Lyons- Cows With Guns He mooed we must fight, escape or we'll die Cows gathered around, cause the steaks were so high Bad cow pun
But then he was captured, stuffed into a crate Loaded onto a truck, where he rode to his fate Cows are bummed
He was a scrawny calf, who looked rather woozy No one suspected he was packing an Uzi Cows with gunsGreat song

Dana Lyons- Cows With Guns Great song I see your 'Cows With Guns' and raise you 'Detatchable Penis' by King Missile. Also: The Notwist - 'Pilot' All Saints - 'Black Coffee' Pepe Deluxe - 'Before You Leave' Noonday Underground - 'London' They're courtesy of the Windows 98 dream machine in my bedroom, which I put back together and turned on for the first time in two years. The Notwist song is brilliant.

He Is Legend - Suck Out The Poison
I was trying to wait another week till I had a bit more money to buy this album, but I saw it and caved in straight away. I have been waiting some time to get it I suppose.
Nifty it is too. Described in a review as being "post-metalcore" and I'd say that's kind of apt. A bit heavier than the last record, and possibly a little more straight-forward, dirty southern sounding riffs a plenty, and Schulyer's vocals sounding very rough and tough.
I'm diggin' it... hard.

'Superstylin' by Groove Armada, and 'Groove Is In The Heart' by Dee-lite, and a whole lot of 80's synth-pop. Courtesy of Carnegies last night, which was lots of fun.

i NEED this. i love switchkicker, but still haven't heard much of MM9 btw i heard switchkicker was playing another couple of shows this year (after he killed the project), you know anything about this hanou? i'm now busting out the new NIN DVD (incredible except it's missing Sin and has too many 'with teeth' songs on it) and also the downward spiral, and the BoT album

There was a "one off" performance last week or so. It was accoustic though... so meh. I'm not too bothered. I don't know if there's anything else planned for down the track, but I wouldn't be surprised if Switchkicker pops back up later down the track.
MM9 shall be delievered.
