no beer on tap. MAJOR flaw

the special facility license Mojos has - which is rare as hens tooth brushes - won't allow tap beer.

the upside to this 1 of a kind license is the venue is allowed to do take away wine, and is permitted to serve alcohol from 7am & has a fixed 1am thurs, Fri & sat.

What's more mojos has offset the no tap with a massive range of bottled beers, come check what's in the fridge?!

Anyway, Mojos are in the process of making radio like sweepers to play during the house music, like that of radio, that say;

'WHAT DO YA MEAN THERE'S NO TAP BEER!!' Mojos Bar North Freo ...

...played at both Mojos and the Hyde Park just last month...we're new to the Perth music scene and our band really enjoyed the vibe at Mojos especially as it was on St Patrick's day and there were plenty of Irsh and kiwi supporters there to see 3 good original acts all from NZ (based in Perth) and a good kiwi cover band as well. The Irish contingent were blazing and passing the spliffs around like the Rastas from the Hokianga back in NZ haha...made me homesick and irie at the same time lol...jammed some good roots reggae by the time we hit the stage just before midnight. Jamming at the fly-by next weekend for the first time...I hear it's a pretty good venue too. Thanks for letting me share, hope I haven't trodden on any toes..they might be connected to the arse I'll have to kiss later haha. Jah bless!

had a great gig at the Fly-by-night and Burlington in Bunbury last weekend supporting Brisbane reggae band 'Paua'..Only disappointment was using the back-line drum kit...sux when you know your own gear is a shitload better...but they say a good tradesman never blames his tools and I've certainly played worse kits...still made it thump though and the 300-odd people there never knew any better anyway...overall, a wicked weekend!
