Funnily enough this was still fresh in my mind when last night I casually clicked over to ABC2- and blow me fucking down Gorillaz were playing live!

Yeah they played behind a backdrop and you could make them out by sillouettes. They had an orchestra (of sorts) in full view infront of them and animations above it all. Quite a lot going on. Big stage production but it looked a bit messy.

The music was pretty excellent if you like that sorta thing. The serendipitous nature of this occurance compels me to comment, Marc!
I would give a phat one if I had it, but currently i'm phucked!

Personally, I don't consider Muscles, DJ Shadow or Chemical Brothers et al to be a 'band'.

I'm not entirely sure why but I like having a word which differentiates between, guitars, drums, bass, brass, fucking harmonica... and largely electronic-composed music, which I call 'act' or 'group'.

Again, I don't know why, it just works for me.
