I tried Oasis ... boy there are some lonely desperate men out there and about a million 'laid back and easy going' people - what kind of description is that? honestly.
I guess internet dating is all the go these days, not sure I like it.

Desperate, are we Blake?
Sometimes it's not a lack of technical knowledge, and it's not laziness. It's just a lack of anything resembling what we call motivation. Like Ron Livingston said in Office Space, "It's not that I'm lazy... I just don't care!"

What erks me about those internet dating sites is that 99% of the women on there put their musical preferences as " I like everything except country and heavy metal".

Fuck you, country and heavy metal is awesome *

* Except when James Hetfield tries to combine the two.

Cool, I'll check it out. I was thinking of "Mama Said" off Load and it's weird video.

as much as I dislike those records, I love that song

I reckon it was so clear at the time that Hetfield needed to make a solo album. He wrote some cool shit that was just horrible in Metallica format.

i think laid back and easy going is easily interchangeable with "can't be arsed with the effort of conventional dating; bitches hit me c/o my mom's basement"

Again, why am I like the only 'Tallica fan to like Load/Reload? I don't reckon Mama Said is all that bad.

Load / Reload did have some pretty good stuff on it, but listening to even one of those albums in one sitting is fucking tedious.

That's true, there are songs on them which are pretty horrid, and sitting through them can be a pain. But then again I find the same with a few albums here and there that are actually good.
